Daejeon International Marketing Enterprise Appoints
2021-2022 Daejeon Convention Ambassadors
On October 20, the Daejeon International Marketing Enterprise (DIME) held the appointment ceremony for 2021-2022 Daejeon Convention Ambassadors, who will play a role in promoting MICE industries and attracting international confenrences.
The Daejeon Convention Ambassador are individuals who possess the necessary skills and connections for Daejeon to attract international conferences. A total of 60 ambassadors have been appointed since 2009. The eight new ambassadors, appointed for 2021 to 2022, are Kang Seoggoo, professor of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Chungnam National University; Munchurl Kim, professor of the School of Electrical Engineering at KAIST; Kim, In-seop, professor of the Department of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology at Hannam University; Dr. Yun Jae-ho of the Korea Institute of Energy Research; Dr. Ji Sup Yoon of the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute; Dr. Lee, Seok-Hoon of the Korea Basic Science Institute; Lee Young-Seak, professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry at Chungnam National University; and Choi, Byoung Wook, president of Hanbat National University.
